Day 37 : Trovinasse to Rifugio Coda

From the agriturismo Belvedere, take the (gravel) road uphill, turning right at the split and then take the path left in one of the turns of the gravel road. After a while, you reach another road, to be followed to Alpe Druer, from where you take the path to Colle di Giassit (2026m) and Colle della Lace (2121m). From the col, take the path up on the ridge, which has some aided stretched and goes to Monte Roux (2318m) and Monte Bechit (2320m). This part is exposed, but not technically difficult. There is an alternative path that does not go across the peaks, probably a good alternative in bad weather. After the peaks, the path starts to drop, to Colle di Carisey, from where it is a short stretch to Rifugio Coda. This is a truly beautifully located mountain hut, with classical feel to it.
