Day 20 : Ghigo di Prali to Balsiglia

Follow the road out of town and take the smaller road on the L to Cugno. From there, you round the mountain, coming onto the picturesque village of Rodoretto (which has a posto tappa). Follow the path onwards towards some smaller hamlets. We lost the trail here and the GPS track follows the road to Fontane and over the pass (Colle di Fontane, 1572m); the trail follows a higher route along the ridge. From there down to Salza di Pinerolo (aka Didiero; posto tappa at Agriturismo La Miando) and along the (very quiet) road to Balsiglia.

Note that the Posto Tappa in Balsiglia is not staffed, so bring your own supplies; there is a kitchen with some groceries available (pasta, sometimes eggs), which you can use and leave payment at the door.
